PROJECT STATEMENT
“The National Women’s History Museum educates, inspires,
empowers, and shapes the future by integrating women's distinctive history into
the culture and history of the United States.”
Currently it is only an online museum, but their vision is
to build a physical museum at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
Problem:
Primary: Fund raising.
Bring awareness to the museum, and by
doing so create revenue to build the physical museum.
Secondary: Create engaging online
exhibits to educate and empower future generations.
Tertiary: An online exhibit exists that
focuses on the nurses of WWII. It
needs an update.
Opportunity:
There is an opportunity to create an online exhibit for the site about the
Frontline Nurses of WWII.
Solution: Create
an engaging interactive documentary that will encourage people to donate to the
museum.
1)It
will generate revenue by pointing to the donations page.
2)It
will educate and empower through imagery and narrative.
3)It
will bring the current exhibit up to date.

Expansion: The exhibit
has the possibility to become a physical exhibit to travel, but also,
eventually have a permanent home once the physical museum is created.
